Work Placement
A primary advantage of ERS training and development is our solid and vast network of host employers, offering participants non-remunerated internships and work placements to further develop their skills.
Each work environment and job description is designed to provide the right balance of challenge and comfort level for each trainee (based on interviews and profiles obtained either through our overseas partner organizations or an overseas visit by one of the ERS programme coordinators). We offer work placements in a variety of fields such as information technology, business administration, retail/merchandising, customer service, multimedia, hospitality, property maintenance and tele-services work placements. As part of our programs, ERS pays special attention to any linguistic limitations in the search of a work placement. Steps are taken by the ERS coordinator to ensure that both the participant and the employer are satisfied and able to fulfill their responsibilities. ERS supervises and monitors all participants throughout their work placements. Formal work placement performance evaluations are conducted in conjunction with the host employers. In the event that any difficulties may arise between the employer and the participant or vice versa, ERS has also set up measures to accommodate both parties. ERS coordinators intervene at the workplace, relocate participants if necessary, and arrange for the completion of evaluations with host employers. |
